Wood Repair or Replacement?

Do you just need a few boards scraped, sanded and primed or are they too far gone and need replaced? How many boards? Are we replacing with wood, Hardie board, LP Smart Siding? One, two, or three stories? Because there are so many determining factors, there is a wide range of cost. You can expect a board replacement to run from $50/board up to $300/board for a second-story fascia board requiring gutter removal. On the other hand, you can expect full residing job to run $20-30k.
